Who is norendra modi her biography

Narendra Modi is a prominent Indian politician and the current Prime Minister of India. He was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, a small town in the Mehsana district of the Indian state of Gujarat.

Modi joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a right-wing Hindu nationalist organization, at a young age and became an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a political party with which the RSS is affiliated.

In 2001, Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, a position he held until 2014. During his tenure as Chief Minister, he implemented various economic and social reforms that helped Gujarat achieve high levels of economic growth and development. However, his tenure was also marred by the 2002 Gujarat riots, in which thousands of people, mostly Muslims, were killed.

In 2014, Modi was elected as the Prime Minister of India, leading the BJP to a historic victory in the general elections. He was re-elected in 2019, winning another five-year term as Prime Minister.

Modi's tenure as Prime Minister has been marked by a number of initiatives and policies, including the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a campaign to clean up India, the Make in India initiative to promote manufacturing in India, the Digital India initiative to digitize the country, and the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, a health insurance scheme for poor and marginalized sections of society.

Modi is known for his oratory skills, his charisma, and his leadership style. However, his government has also been criticized for its handling of issues such as human rights, economic inequality, and religious intolerance.
